#hackgate #MET corruption :Two detectives on corruption charges on full pay for five years !

DETECTIVE INSPECTOR JOHN REDGRAVE and DETECTIVE CONSTABLE MICHAEL CHARMAN have been suspended and on full pay for five years the Met admitted.  Both men take a combined annual salary of around £75,000, amounting to a taxpayers bill of £375,000 for staying at home.

They were charged with offences under the Official Secrets Act and perverting the course of justice.

The Met refused to discuss the case and said ' it can take some time to sort these things out.'

THE ANTI-CORRUPTION SQUAD in the period of 2002 reluctantly published figures to the public saying that 121 people in the police had been charged --- police officers and ex-police personnel.  The report indicated 66 criminals and others seeking to corrupt officers were also listed.
